Why does the commissioning manufacturers’ product always perform best in test?

Conscious consumers ask us about the trustworthiness of tests conducted on assignment of manufacturers. Here is Testfakta Researchs' answer.

When a manufacturer commissions us to conduct a Benchmarking or Verification test, it is Testfakta Research who both sets the test protocol and ensures a representative and comparable selection of products on the respective market.

After we have received all test results from the testing laboratories, the best performing product is established. If the commissioning manufacturers’ product is the test winner, the manufacturer usually wants us to publish the test. If, on the other hand, the commissioning manufacturers’ product does not perform best in test, the manufacturer only uses the results internally. Those tests do not get published.
